NHS In UK- Is It Effective?

The Health Care System in UK can easily be classified as one that is best only for getting two aspirins and a cup of water, anything more than that would be quite a risk for the individual approaching the system for. The health care depends greatly on the specific region from where one is taking the assistance of the health care system. The majority of the population in UK do subscribe to the national health care scheme. With its ups and downs depending on region where the service is being reviewed one can conclude that there is genocide being committed amongst the people in low socioeconomic levels all over the UK.

Money for the funds to run this wonderful service is built by a part of tax that is levied on the people of UK. This part of the tax goes to run the “National Insurance” of the country. The major part of the fund thus collected goes towards looking after the disabled and the elderly of the country. About 86 percent of the prescription in England is provided free and therefore the fund should be looking after all the medical needs of the disabled, elderly and the poor.

However, it is a known fact that people move to Scotland for health care needs rather than taking the same in England and this is for the reason that Scotland has a better health care system than all over England. The NHS is not running the show in this area and it is the Welsh people themselves who have formed their own health care system that takes care of its people. London on the other hand is a place where health care is at its worst. Call for an ambulance, the arrival itself would take more than what the patient can survive through.

Facts and figures obtained by surveying the population in London also prove that getting medical aid in time in London is a matter of luck, and this also includes something as basic as DNA testing.
